I need a Bible
For a loved one in need…
Of love and Hope
Of internal strength and peace
Of God’s presence, watch care, and guidance
For a lonely soul depressed beyond repair
For a dejected one without friends and love
For a single mother burdened with care
For a homeless being tormented with debt and doubts
And a sin-sick soul determined to end it all
To you, for whom the world has been so unfair!!
To you, betrayed by love, family, and friends
To you, who has lost all and life has no meaning
To you, who has no reason to live
To you, battling with evil spirits, addiction, disease, and fear
While all around you seems gloomy, dark and stony walled
While all hearts are steeled and unfeeling towards you
While all ears are deaf to your cries
While all eyes are blind to your predicaments
While all hands fold as you sink to rise no more
There is an unseen Hand guiding the affairs of life
An omnipresent being familiar with your afflictions
A Holy Spirit hovering around you and willing to help
If only you will kneel, cry, and pray
If only you’ll open your heart,
open the Bible, and read…
