The most painful experience in life is disappointment. It’s more bitter than death and more devastating than poverty. Few can stand such traumas and the whole world is heading towards such a disappointment.
For millennia, the Jews looked for a promised Messiah who will come and deliver them from bondage and make their nation the pride and wonder of the world. Unbeknownst to them, this hope was based on deception and falsification of scripture. Owing to a perverted interpretation of the scriptures, they killed He who was promised to them from Eden. Their nation was destroyed, and millions perished or were sold into slavery. Until today, they look for a Messiah who has already come.

Their Rabbis have placed an inhumane curse on anyone who dares read portions of scripture that point to Jesus as the Messiah, locking their teeming followers in darkness and false hopes. Such was the disappointment of the disciples when Christ died, for they also expected a Messiah who will bring an earthly Kingdom. The pharisaical misinterpretation of scriptures that existed in Christ’s day is also rampant today. Millions are being fed with a prosperity gospel when the Bible forewarns persecution and trial for all who will live godly lives (2 Tim 3:12).
The pharisaical preachers and pastors of today are draining millions of dollars from the ignorant masses in the name of Christ, promising them blessings and healing. They give them false hopes of purgatory and a second chance after a “rapture” that is as absent from the Bible as water is on Pluto!

Millions pray and pay for their departed ones in “purgatory”, believing that their dead ‘righteous’ ones are in Heaven, when the dead are in the dust awaiting the resurrection. Prayers are uttered in unintelligible gibberish called ‘tongues’, albeit such wasn’t the case in apostolic times. Oh, the disappointment that the world shall experience on that day when Christ shall make all truths known! Oh the disappointment, when He shall drive away the so-called miracle workers, prophets, ‘celebrity’ Christians, etc. When we will see that there is no second chance and we were deceived by the popular religion of the day (Matthew 7.21-24)
Oh LORD, open our eyes and understanding to your Word and truth. Keep us from the popular deceptions of this age falsely termed ‘Christianity’ that we be not disappointed like the people of Noah’s day.
