How far is a man willing to go to secure his ambitions and worldly glory?
The annals of history are reddened by the blood of innocent souls destroyed by power-thirsty men who brooked no umbrage or interference to their quest for political power. During the Liberian and Sierra Leonean civil wars, the hearts of men were literally ripped out and chewed with the blood by the warring soldiers as part of rituals for spiritual and physical power. This is just a dim representation of what happens during civil wars and revolutions spurred by men who are hell-bent on having power at all cost. In comparison to these dark crimes, rape, mutilations, arson, kidnapping, etc. fades into insignificance…
During political seasons in many parts of Africa, kids, albinos, and women are killed, severed in parts, and used as sacrifices by fetish priests to secure political power for the players: just to win power.

Owing to the rising materialism of this age, many a young man gleefully kills his wife, girlfriend, relatives, children, parents, etc as a blood sacrifice to secure immediate wealth and prestige. Further, thousands join secret or occultic societies where human sacrifices are needed for their membership and to secure physical wealth and spiritual power. Incredibly, most so-called pastors join these societies or visit shrines to offer such blood sacrifices for their churches to grow and secure prestige, wealth, and power.
It is common knowledge that many unsuspecting youth are drawn into homosexuality through the desire for wealth. To a man engulfed with a desire for power and wealth “Fair is foul, and foul is fair”. These paradigms mirror Shakespeare’s story of Macbeth, who murdered a king for power. The story of Macbeth demonstrates the sad end of all who are consumed by pride and an inordinate desire for power.

Indeed, one of Satan’s most successful temptations to men is to present to them visions of worldly glory and power. A tactic he used even for Christ:
“Again, the devil took him up into an exceeding high mountain and showed him all the glory of them; and said unto Him, all these things will I give thee, if thou will fall down and worship me”.
How low are we willing to bow to Satan, just for worldly power and wealth? For what, are we willing to trade our souls to Satan? All those men who, like Christopher Marlowe’s Dr. Faustus, who sold his soul to the devil in exchange for the ephemeral vanities of this mortal life, are dead and forgotten! All their evil atrocities for naught?

Thousands are flocking to secret societies to get immediate wealth and power.
May we stop and ponder that “What shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul, or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” I always tell witches and occultists, if you cannot heal a simple malaria or Ebola, then your power is foolishness. If you cannot keep the lights on with your witchcraft and magic, then you are the most deceived soul on earth!
May God open our understanding.
