The world is in turmoil. Society is at a crossroad. The older generation is giving way to the newer generation with swift changes. Finance, politics, religion, culture, diseases, the climate, are seeing rapid changes. Here, we provide thought-provoking insights into the current and impending crises facing the world.

    Ironies of Life

The events and happenings of life are beyond the reach of any human being. We do not know what will happen tomorrow, making us helpless and dependent on nature and God...The unpredictability of life should move us to great humility.

Where shall the next pandemic emerge from? What shall trigger the next World War? What news headlines shall shake the world tomorrow? Who shall lose his job and life next? Oh, the ironies of life and the uncertainties thereof! Who knows tomorrow? Do you know that the orphan and captive Esther became the Queen of the greatest empire, Medo-Persia, of that age?

Jacob sought asylum with Laban his uncle, who cheated him 20x. Yet, God gave him Laban’s wealth and made him Israel, a nation. Joseph, the Hebrew slave, became the Prime Minister of Egypt, the greatest empire of his time. Indeed, Moses, a Hebrew slave’s son, was to be the next Pharaoh of Egypt, but is now in Heaven! It was the child Samuel, living without his parents in Eli’s house, who became the Judge, Priest, and Prophet of Israel.

From the sheep-keeping fields of Bethlehem, David was called and anointed king. Even when he least expected it, God had already prepared him to lead His people.

David, a neglected son and fugitive, living in caves and running from Saul, was the greatest King of Israel. Indeed, the very troubles and trials of life, are the best agencies shaping us for future greatness. I am not preaching prosperity but showing the power of God to overturn gloomy events into victorious outcomes. Jehovah can change the fortunes of those who TRUST and OBEY HIM.

Is your case worse and more desperate than these? What can’t God do for you, oh ye of little faith! Why fear tomorrow, when the maker of days is your King and God? Oh Lord, increase our faith and heal our unbelief!

After years of despondency, pain, shame, and regret, Sarah finally gave birth to Isaac. When we wait on God, He will visit us at the right time

As I kneel on this Holy Sabbath, my soul’s breath and prayer for all is this: peace be unto you! May the glory of God shine on us and grant us our prayer request. A Happy Holy Sabbath to all the praying waiting saints of God.
