    Next pandemic

    The ironies of life are innumerable. The uncertainties of life are indescribable. Our inability to predict the future limits and clouds our understanding and appreciation of the mysteries of the Universe, of which we are only a drop.

    Where shall the next pandemic emerge from? What shall trigger the next World War? What news headlines shall shake the world tomorrow? Who shall lose his job and life next?

    Oh, the ironies of life and the uncertainties thereof! Who knows tomorrow? Do you know, that it was the orphan and captive Esther, who became Queen of the greatest empire, Medo -Persia, of that age? Jacob sought asylum with Laban his uncle, who cheated him twenty times. Yet, God gave him Laban’s wealth and made him Israel, a nation.

    Joseph, the Hebrew slave, became the Prime Minister of Egypt, the greatest empire of his time. Indeed, Moses, a Hebrew slave’s son, was to be the next Pharaoh of Egypt but is now in Heaven. It was the child Samuel, living without his parents in Eli’s house, who became the Judge, Priest and Prophet of Israel…

    The materials that we value today, will become nothing tomorrow. Such are the ironies of life.

    David, a neglected son and fugitive, living in caves and running from Saul, was the greatest King of Israel. Indeed, the very troubles and trials of life, are the best agencies shaping us for future greatness. I’m not preaching prosperity, but showing the power of God to overturn gloomy events into victorious outcomes. Jehovah can change the fortunes of those who TRUST and OBEY HIM.

    Is your case worse and more desperate than these? What can’t God do for you, oh ye of little faith? Why fear tomorrow, when the maker of days is your King and God? Oh Lord, increase our faith and heal our unbelief. My soul’s breath and prayer for all is this: peace be unto you. May the glory of God shine on us and grant us our prayer request.
