The fentanyl crises: is there an end in sight?

The history of Purdue Pharma and opioids is only an example of how selfish some pharmaceutical companies can be. Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, etc., have had their share of evil, lost court cases, & negotiated compensations to families. Already, people are lacing their boots to get compensation from AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Moderna for the Covid vaccine injuries.

Why, because scientific data is showing that people who took the covid vaccines are prone to death from heart attack and strokes. Indeed, viral spike proteins made from these mRNA vaccines by the host cells were found in the brain and heart cells of these dead persons. These spike proteins caused inflammation that eventually caused memory loss and death.

How do these opioids, cocaine, marijuana, and stimulants such as methamphetamine, work? They all “increase the levels of dopamine, a hormone in the brain that makes you happy and encourages you to do more of that activity that makes you feel good. This is the source of the addiction.”

Let me explain further. Sugar is addictive because it also affects dopamine levels in the brain. Fatty foods, meat, and other rich oily foods all increase dopamine levels. They make you happy.

Animal foods. Animal products are rich in cholesterol, proteins, fats, and if grown commercially, in hormones and antibiotics. These products, when used in foods, especially fried ones, increases dopamine levels.

The body then tells the brain (through dopamine), ‘this is good, I love it; please keep a memory of this food or drug and always go for it’ The brain then notes it down and does everything to always get that food or drug: this is addiction. You know it’s bad, but you can’t stop it. Indeed, sex also increases dopamine levels and explains why some people are sex addicts.

Hence, once people got used to cocaine and methamphetamine, heroin was introduced because it is more potent. Heroin lost its power over people over time, and fentanyl, the most potent opioid, was made. Fentanyl is 50-100 times more powerful than morphine and very damaging than all opioids. It is creating more addicts and vagabonds. Ninety percent of fentanyl is made in China.Whereas OxyContin killed half a million people, fentanyl is bound to kill millions. People overdose it and fall dead in the streets. It has made thousands homeless and hopeless…Tramadol, another opioid used as a painkiller, is currently causing havoc in Africa. (Independent, 2019) Many pharmacies are selling it without prescription just to make profits, destroying the lives of many.

I will save the most troubling episode for next week. Just this week, the US Senate is drafting a law to control the fentanyl (opioid) epidemic in the US. Why, because it’s becoming a serious issue. May the peace of Heaven bless our homes.
