One of the best and most faithful disciples of Christ was a harlot. A woman who was inhabited by 7 demons, which made her commit adultery with reckless abandon. Being caught in the very act of adultery, Mary Magdalene was condemned to death by her captors, who were determined to end her life by all means. But for the presence of Christ, Mary would have died in her sins (John 8:3-11).

In Matthew 17:14-18, we learn of a man whose kid was epileptic and suffered from bewildering seizures that threw him into fire and water. This young man, during his seizures, behaved like a mad man, reflective of those mad men at Gergesa, who inhabited the mountains, tormented the people, tore off their chains, and cried like wild beasts, bruising themselves with stones daily (Mark 5:1-20).
In all these 3 circumstances, one thing is common: the victims of adultery, epilepsy, and mental derangement, were inhabited by demons. Under the control of these evil spirits, the human host is driven to commit acts that are contrary to the nature and character of God. Many a madman walking our streets are but walking slaves driven by unseen demons…

The Gospels of Christ show us how many forms of diseases were caused by demons, who took joy in torturing and destroying human and animal life. The fury with which the demons who were sacked from the maniacs at Gedara drove the pigs into the sea, or the intensity with which they caused seizures in the epileptic man, throwing him into water and fire, show us the wickedness of these demons and what they will do to their victims!!
The constant bloodshed, robberies, prostitution, homosexuality, indescribable crimes, murders, nudies, etc. that fill our streets, are but the works of these demons who control their victims.

If you want to know the plan of Satan for his victims and ultimately, this world, look at these three examples. No one of his/her own accord can break free from these evil spirits and their immoral and unhealthy effects on mankind but Christ.
“For the thief cometh not, but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I am come thAT they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10)
If you want to break free from the power of Satan, oh young man. If you want to save your child from drugs, alcoholism, promiscuity, and moral perverseness, oh dear parent. Then look no further: go to Christ.

For He is the only one who has power over these evil spirits, to cast them away and free the victim in peace. Dear reader, God did not make man as we now see him: destitute, wicked, heartless, hateful, atheistic, sick, mad. No, no, no. Man was made in the image and likeness of God Himself. Indeed, an enemy has done this to man. But our Redeemer liveth: there is a balm in Gilead; there is healing there.

May God have mercy on His creation and save us from the throes of Satan. May this Sabbath bring healing, peace, joy, everlasting grace, and freedom from evil spirits. A blessed Sabbath to all, Shalom!!
