When the slaves of Pharoah and the servants of Jehovah walked away from Egypt in their thousands, Egypt was devastated!! Her fields of wheat and barley were destroyed by hail. Her animals and firstborn were all killed. Her water bodies were filled with blood and stinking fish. Without food and water, without animals and fertile fields, without slaves…Egypt was all but destroyed!
For several years, the Egyptians had oppressed the Israelites with grinding slavery, even unto death. Whilst the Israelites suffered silently and patiently, losing their male borns to the sheer cruelty of the Pharoah, the Egyptians looked unconcerned regarding Israel’s plight. Despite their gloom and pitiful lot, many looked onto the day when they shall be delivered from their oppression.
The Israelites were forced into slavery to build giant monuments for the Egyptians. So determined were the Egyptians to keep Israel in perpetual bondage that not even the supernatural events from God through Moses could convince them to let Israel go. Hence, even after Israel walked away from Egypt with great wealth and relief, Pharoah still pursued Israel to return them under his dominion!
In this, he had crossed the line of divine forbearance. Strangely, not even the divine darkness existing between them and Israel all night could stay their course. Waking up in the morning to see the darkness removed and Israel crossing the parted sea on bare ground, they ventured to follow suit. Herein, they sealed their doom and perished in the red sea.

As the hellish grips of Satan gradually tighten around the Earth and he installs his agents at key positions globally, laws that will oppress the people of God will be made. Soon, Laws that brazenly go against nature and God’s order will be enacted and enforced globally. The world shall be ruled by ungodly and heartless people who will have no regard for human lives but to do Satan’s bidding.
The people of God will be worse off than slaves in Egypt, for they can not have the freedom to worship God according to the dictates of their conscience. For the antichrist shall rule with an iron fist worst than that of Hitler, Lenin, or Stalin. Yet, there shall be a faithful few who will patiently wait on their LORD to deliver them. With great signs and wonders, Jehovah shall punish the Earth for her evil and deliver His saints.

The slavery and deliverance of Israel teach us one important lesson: the need for faith and patience in God. No matter how oppressive and long Satan’s rule shall be, God shall rise and deliver His people. No matter how successful the wicked shall be towards God’s faithful ones, He shan’t keep quiet forever. He will rise and deliver them with great signs and wonders. If we know and believe in this, happy are we!
No matter what you are going through, look to Israel in Egypt, and remember that your Redeemer liveth, and He shall one day come to your deliverance. As greater storms approach this sin-torn Earth, remember that your Redeemer liveth, and He is able to save you from all evil. For Satan shall do his worst to demoralize God’s people but the just shall live by faith and they that wait upon the LORD shall rise like eagles. They shall run and never be weary!

Let us, therefore, clinch in faith to the promises of God despite the troubles that may befall us. He who made a way through the Red Sea, is able to save unto the uttermost, all who come to Him in selfless faith.
