The world is in turmoil. Society is at a crossroad. The older generation is giving way to the newer generation with swift changes. Finance, politics, religion, culture, diseases, the climate, are seeing rapid changes. Here, we provide thought-provoking insights into the current and impending crises facing the world.

    Walking Sacs Of Garbage

The inability of the blood to move easily throughout the body leads to many avoidable diseases and infections. Poor blood circulation is caused by inadequate water intake and insufficient exercise. This lifestyle is so common these days because of our sedentary lifestyle and love for soda drinks instead of pure water. These are the underlying cause of many diseases in modern society.

Some of the earliest signs of failing service delivery in every society are unbearable stench, invasion of flies, choked gutters/drains, etc., leading to flooding and disease outbreaks… A similar phenomenon occurs in the body when it fails to excrete waste produced during daily activities. Indeed, the importance of waste disposal from the body is seen when the kidney fails and the body swells with fluids!

The human body produces a lot of waste just as every home does and the stench of such bodily waste is no secret to anyone who fails to bathe/shower, urinate, or defecate for days! This waste, if not excreted through the lungs, skin, faeces, and urine, can build up in the body, settling in the bones, joints, veins, intestines, etc. Further, this waste also builds up in the cells, killing them, triggering inflammation, inhibiting immune function, and increasing cancerous cells!

Many inflammatory and disease conditions in the body are caused by a build-up of waste in the cells, blood, and bones. Examples of such conditions include gouty arthritis.

This build-up of waste consequently makes the body a walking sac of garbage predisposed to all forms of diseases and ready to collapse and die at any time. Such is the situation for everyone who fails to exercise frequently and drink adequate water.

In this fast age of ease and luxury, many a man hardly exercises or drinks enough water. Without exercise, the waste produced by the body is hardly excreted from the tissues into the blood, kidneys, skin, and faeces. This is because he who does not exercise has sluggish blood that hardly moves, making it impossible to remove the waste from the “streets” of the body. The streets of the body, are the blood vessels through which the blood moves to carry nutrients to and fro.

How blood vessel health may drive IBD
Blood vessels are the “streets” through which nutrients, waste, water, and air (oxygen and carbon dioxide) circulate through the body. Exercising constantly helps move the blood through these vessels (streets) while a sluggish/sedentary life reduces the blood flow/circulation, causing waste matter to accumulate in the body.

Similarly, he who fails to drink water concentrates his blood and reduces the circulation and dissolution power of the blood (that is, the ability of the blood to dissolve the nutrients and waste). Thus, wastes are unable to fully dissolve in the blood and remain uncleared from the site of generation. Without enough water, the body hardly sweats, and the urine becomes highly concentrated, predisposing the kidney to failure and the formation of kidney stones.

Waste build-up within the body can lead to skin diseases as the waste generated in the body are unable to be excreted through sweat and urine. This can affect the skin cells as well as kidney function.

Whereas the heart beats to circulate the blood throughout the body, it takes exercise to increase skeletal muscle activity, which then forces blood back to the heart or pushes food down the intestines. The absence of exercise and water thus causes constipation and subsequent intestinal and body complications.

Failure to drink adequate water and engage in constant exercise can cause waste build-up in the kidneys. These can affect the health of the kidneys.

A waste build-up in the blood also affects the brain cells, increasing headaches (migraines), and reducing memory, intelligence, smart/critical thinking, etc. Exercise and water make the brain smart and healthy.

Exercise increases sweating, urination, bowel movements, and thirst. By quenching this thirst, lost fluids are replaced, and wastes are cleared. In the absence of these, the body is akin to a community deluged with waste, stench, putrefying matter, and unhealthy bacteria/germs that can cause diseases and overwhelm the body’s defenses.

Inadequate exercise and water intake can affect blood circulation in the brain. The brain becomes sluggish with poor coordination, memory loss, and eventually, reduced brain function. The brain needs efficient circulation to distribute oxygen and sugars to all cells to ensure proper function.

Many are walking sacs of garbage, but they know it not! No wonder diseases of all forms are plaguing humanity! Let us increase our exercise and water intake to clear the stench and clogs in our bodies before the worst happens…

It is my prayer on this beautiful holy Sabbath, that we not only clear the garbage in our bodies but also let go of all sins: either done to us or by us. Let us free the heart and mind of pain, revenge, enmity, bitterness, and sorrow, and fill it with abundant grace, peace, love, forgiveness, and charity! Happy blissful Sabbath to all. Shalom!

Many diseases that affect the body can be avoided if we only drink a lot of clean water and exercise frequently to easily dispose off all bodily waste.
